Salary: $75k- $85k + super

About the Opportunity

We are currently partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to source a highly organized and proactive Manufacturing & Project Operations Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will be the glue holding the manufacturing and project teams together, ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and execution of complex manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities As the Manufacturing & Project Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that operations run smoothly, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Production Planning: Coordinating production work orders, updating schedules, tracking manufacturing milestones, and identifying potential delays before they impact delivery.
• Project Administration: Maintaining comprehensive project files, managing document control systems (including drawings and specifications), and monitoring project deliverables against planned schedules.
• Procurement & Inventory Management: Raising purchase orders, following up on supplier deliveries, conducting stocktakes, and proactively notifying management of material shortages.
• Systems & Reporting: Capturing daily production data into ERP/MRP systems, tracking labour hours, and maintaining manufacturing KPIs.
• Quality & Compliance: Managing essential quality, safety, and environmental records, supporting internal/external audits, and coordinating employee training and competency documentation.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Serving as the central point of contact between project, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and warehouse personnel, while also maintaining strong relationships with external suppliers and contractors.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a quick thinker with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities. You will bring:

• Exceptional problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to issue clear instructions and establish credibility quickly.
• A solid understanding of construction and manufacturing processes.
• The resilience to manage frequent task changes and time pressures within a dynamic major project environment.
• Ideally, a minimum of 3 years of experience working within the manufacturing space.
• Desirable: A White Card and relevant Tertiary or Trade qualifications.
